The European University Football Championships continue in Camerino. Today, in the men's 11-a-side football competition, the University of Munich and Jyvӓskylӓ teams faced each other in Group A, with a final score of 1-2. Then, on the same sports field at the University of Camerino, the University of Camerino and Ege University faced each other, ending in a 0-0 draw.

Next up were the teams in Group B, the University of Montpellier and the University of Fribourg, who ended their match at the San Severino sports grounds with a 0-0 draw. Following that, also at San Severino, the University of Timisoara lost to the University of Porto 0-3.

Then it was the turn of Group C, which saw the teams from the Polytechnic University of Turin and the University of Ostrava compete, ending the match 0-1. Playing immediately afterwards on the same pitch, in Matelica, were the teams from the University of Granada and Rouen, which closed the match with a 0-0 draw.

Finally, in Group D, the University of Würzburg and the University of Zagreb took to the field in Castelraimondo, ending the match with a 0-0 draw.

In the women's 7-a-side football competition, the first to start were the teams in Group A, the University of Lille and the University of Würzburg, who faced each other at the municipal stadium in Camerino, ending with a score of 1-2. Later, it was the turn of the home team, the University of Camerino, who lost to the University of Aman (Ukraine) with a score of 1-2. 

In Group B, the University of Gdansk and Groningen faced off at the municipal stadium in Camerino, drawing 4-4, as did the University of Montpellier and Frankfurt, who ended their match with a 3-3 draw.

The second day of the championship ended with Group C, which saw the girls from the University of Zagreb lose to the University of Aveiro by a score of 2-3. The match was held at the UNICAM sports facilities.

Athletes are also enjoying plenty of free time between matches and training, making the most of the Camerino Sports Facilities, where they have free access to the weight room, tennis courts, padel courts, beach volleyball courts, table tennis tables, a running track and a cross-country course, calisthenics equipment and, last but not least, the Camerino Municipal Swimming Pool.

Furthermore, to ensure that this is above all a festive atmosphere for the community of Camerino, the Pro Loco, with the contribution of the Nirvana and Asterix nightclubs and the K2 bar, will organise an event every evening. Tonight is the European Welcome Night, followed by the Notti Indie party at the Sottocorte Village.
